Fortune Names Elon Musk The Top Businessperson of 2013

Fortune Magazine has named Musk the top businessperson of 2013 based on the revenues and stock price gains from three companies he founded — Tesla, SpaceX and SolarCity — and the "cultural impact" he has had through these and other ventures, including the much-discussed Hyperloop concept.

"The co-founder of PayPal has gone on to disrupt aeronautics with Space Exploration Technologies, known as SpaceX; shake up the auto business with Tesla Motors; and retool the energy sector with SolarCity," Fortune notes in its writeup of Musk. "But it is his audacity and tenacity that make him Fortune's Businessperson of the Year."
This accomplishment comes at a tenuous time for Musk as one of those companies, Tesla, is struggling to beat back concerns following reports that several of its cars have caught fire. Tesla's stock had approached nearly $200 a share, a more than sixfold increase for the year, but has since dropped back down to the low $120 range.
Musk isn't the only tech exec to rank high on Fortune's list. The CEOs of Netflix, Amazon and Google all cracked the top 10. Angela Ahrendts, the current CEO of Burberry and soon-to-be retail exec at Apple, ranked fourth on the list as well.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumored to Have 64-bit CPU, Aluminum Body – Details

One of the latest rumors about the next flagship smartphone from Samsung, i.e. the Galaxy S5 says that it would be coming with the 14 nm Exynos 6 64-bit CPU, and with this, it could be the first Android smartphone to have a 64-bit CPU? iPhone 5S from Apple has the 64-bit A7 chipset and Samsung won’t be waiting for long before they come out with the upgraded CPU.
The architecture would remain the same, with Samsung including the Octa-core architecture of the Exynos chipset but it expected that the new one would have the capability to run all the cores at once. The production of these chipsets is expected to be by the end of this year, and Samsung would be the first to use the Exynos 6 chipset in the Galaxy S5.
it now seems that Samsung is thinking to showcase this smartphone as early as in CES 2014 or in MWC 2014 which is the upcoming tech shows scheduled in January and February 2014.  Flexible Screen for Galaxy S5 still seems skeptical as there are still no news about mass production.

Ayo game android app Ayo Game, The Popular Traditional Board Game From Nigeria Goes Android
Ayo‘ like we call it in this part of the world is a popular strategy board game that originated in Nigeria and now it is played mostly in West
Africa now goes ‘Andriod’…it has been released as an Android application by Nigerian app developing company, “Taytronik“.

The Ayo game had been a successful  digital game because a released version for computers. But this time its going mobile, it has been developed in single or two player modes which makes it interactive and realistic for players as it normally requires. It involves basically three levels of difficulty (easy, medium and hard) depending on your understanding of the game and you can select if you want to start or allow the computer to start. For a two player game, there’s a rotated view allowing people to stay on opposite sides of the playboard and play comfortably.

Once you click ‘Play’, your Android device is turned into an Ayo playboard and you can then interact with your screen by tapping to pickup the seeds and dropping them by tapping on each house or pot. If you can’t finish up the game, you can always save it and resume later.
The game looks quite interactive, engaging and for sure it will be addictive when played from your phone or tablet device.
The Ayo game app is currently available for Android devices and can be downloaded from the Android Market for N151.88k (about $1) and the Amazon Appstore for ($0.99).

 IS THIS AWESOME OR WHAT?

Logitech  officially announced its new MFi controller, the PowerShell.  Logitech  doubles as a battery pack with a built-in 1500mAh battery

The new controllers are using Apple’s new MFi iOS 7 game controller program, which offers accessory makers and developers one standard framework for implementing support for iOS compatible game controllers. How to share your PC or Desktop Internet with your HTC inspire 4G or Desire HD via USB

Believe it or not, there are scenarios where one might want to share an internet connection with one's mobile device. In my case I needed this solution because I didn't have access to the Wi-Fi at work and didn't have any active subscriptions and I needed to be online. So I had to search out a way to use my internet enabled (via Ethernet ) work desktop  to share connection with my phone.
The process is the opposite of the intrinsically provided Tethering feature of android phones and it is known as reverse tethering.
To share your PC internet with your HTC Android via USB is not too difficult but you are gonna need a few things to get started.
1. Your phone must be rooted. There are of course  many resources online to help you with this. A simple Google search should suffice.
2. Your PC or laptop must be connected to the internet. Obviously!
3. Your phones drivers must be installed on the PC you are connected to via USB
Lets get started.
1. Ensure you have an internet connection on your PC
2. Connect your HTC via USB to the PC and enable USB debugging
3. Download Android Reverse Tethering and run it by clicking on Android Tool.exe
4. Go to  this page to download and follow the instructions to get Android Reverse Tethering.  (This software is only available for windows )
Reverse Tethering should be able to recognise your device if its drivers are installed. And then you are good to go.
5. Obtaining your phone's drivers for your PC might be an issue. So to fix this you will need to install PdaNet+.
PdaNet+ will search out and install your phone's drivers to your PC and install itself on your phone. Locate PdaNet+ via google from your PC and install it. ( You might need to skip this step if Reverse tether has already detected your phone. )
6. Select your device from the drop down list on Reverse Tethering and click connect.
Follow the prompts on your phone screen and grant Super User access
7. Hurray, you are good to go. Happy browsing!!!

Facebook Changes Like Button

Pop quiz: What buttons are seen more than 22 billion times every day, embedded on 7.5 million websites?
Answer: the Facebook Like and Share buttons, according to new numbers released by the social network.

And now these most widespread of online icons are both getting their first ever redesign.
The biggest difference you'll notice straight away: the thumb is gone from the Like button. Instead, it will appear in the dialogue box above the button that shows you how many Likes your post or page has.
The new button features the Facebook "f" logo instead. It is white on blue, rather than blue on white, as is the new share button. The Share button will replace Facebook's Send button — deemed too confusing.

Redesigned Like

The reason for the redesign? The new version is optimized for high-resolution screens, according to Peter Yang, a product manager at Facebook, in the comments section of the Facebook blog post announcing the change.
Users should start to see the change on those 7.5 million websites as it rolls out over the coming weeks.
